Welcome to The World District. By visiting our website or working with us, you agree to the following terms. We’ve written them in plain language so expectations are clear and fair.

Ownership & Portfolio Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, The World District retains copyright ownership of all creative work. Clients receive a license to use deliverables for their business purposes. Exclusive ownership or expanded usage rights may be granted if specifically agreed upon in a separate agreement.

We also reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed.

Revisions & Approvals

We include complimentary revisions for 30 days after final approval of a project. Revisions requested after this period will be billed at our preferred client rate.

Payments & Refunds

Payment terms will be outlined in individual project agreements. Unless otherwise specified, a deposit of 50% is due before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.

Payments cover both our time and creative work. Once work has begun, fees are non-refundable. Refunds may only be considered if no work has started, at our discretion.

Liability

We strive to deliver reliable, high-quality work. However, The World District is not liable for issues outside our control, including (but not limited to):

Hosting outages or downtime
Errors or changes caused by third-party platforms (such as Framer, Google, or social media tools)
Client misuse of deliverables

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. By working with us or using our site, you agree that any disputes will be resolved under Ontario law.
