Overview

Aneta is a holistic nutritionist and chef who was ready to launch an in-home meal-prep service of her own. The problem was… she didn’t even have a name.
We came up with Aneta B. Cookin and that started our collaboration. We built a distinctive brand system from the ground up, then launched a website she can manage solo and now runs a thriving buisness.

The Logo

We created a wordmark logo featuring a spoon, which was added for a touch of playfulness. By combining the “B” and the dot of the “i,” the spoon represents Aneta stirring the pot—emphasized by the swirl of the “B.” This subtle, hidden element gives the logo both depth and personality.

As a foundation, we merged two fonts and customized them to create something unique. To reflect Aneta’s elegance, we used “Excellentia in Excelsis” a handwritten font that adds a classical touch and mimics a signature—underscoring the personal nature of a private chef. We paired it with “Curvilingus,” a playful serif that captures Aneta’s joyful personality and her mission to make nutritious meals delicious.

Both fonts were slightly tweaked and tied together by the spoon. We also created a GIF to bring the concept to life, showing the spoon swirling the pot.

The Process

Naming

To start, Aneta needed a name.
We saw it in her & her dream.
Aneta B. (Burzinski) Cookin.
A play on words, Aneta Be Cooking was just stating the obvious.

Research

Getting to know what other private chefs are doing, showed us the bar. Getting to know Aneta showed us how to make it uniquely Aneta B.

Mood Board

One lesson we learnt on this project was the importance of a complete mood board. We spent a lot of time on each element's mood board.

Logo Design

From research and mood board approvals, we aimed to create a logo with a hidden detail & blend Aneta’s fun, relaxed elegance into it.

Doodles Design

As we stepped into the visual identity phase, we looked to portray health in a fun & playful way.
Further designing a background with a paper texture for her future cookbook endeavour.

Website

Finding the right web hosting was key. We went with WIX for its short learning curve and easy solo management.
Original background and layout we created and Aneta has taken care of it ever since launching in.

Within a Year

Aneta is now a full-time private chef—even hired by NHL and MLB players in Toronto—a result of her craft, consistency, and a brand that feels authentically her.
